The work was composed for Dominique Vleeshouwers who won the most prestigious classical music award named ‘Nederlandse Muziekprijs’ (Dutch Music Price).
He performed this work as an encore after his solo program with the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra in the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
It is a very intimate and romantic song aiming to bring the listener into a very deep conscious state of melancholy, silence, reflection and contemplation.
